Le Grand Verre Durbuy - Wout Bru by Christopher Roxs

Winter wonderland! by Christopher Roxs

A couple of weeks ago there was a lot of snow here in the area. I took this opportunity to organize some evening shoots because the snow wasn’t going to last for so long… I’m pretty happy with the results!
I have to say that I wasn’t really prepared… I forgot my gloves even though I told my models to take theirs… My shoes were not really “winterproof” so my feet were cold… BUT… It was worth it!

My gear worked perfectly in -8 degrees C! My Profoto B10 fell in the snow but it still worked fine so Profoto, these are winterproof(!!!) and my Sony A7 III worked perfectly as well!

What do you think? :D

Workshop

Ludwig du Hardy by Christopher Roxs

Recently I started experimenting light shaping on horses and I have to admit I really enjoyed it!
Of course it’s very different than light shaping on people but you can be very creative as well!
Here are some photo’s taken with my Sony A7 III and just one octa from Westcott Lighting (apollo Orb).

Dont hesitate to leave a comment!

Sony Ambassadorship by Christopher Roxs

So I can now say it: I just became a Sony Ambassador! I’m so excited to start this new adventure! I switched to Sony a few months ago now and I immediately fell in love with my Sony A7 mark3… Taking amazing photos, extraordinary video capability, all of that in such a compact camera…

I hope you will follow me in this new journey that is laying ahead of me.

Greetings! :D

Arioze in Amsterdam by Christopher Roxs

During the ADE festival I had the opportunity to take photos of my Friend Angeline, who’s a Singaporean DJ. Amsterdam by night is such a beautiful place to get creative with available lights!

I hope you like them!

FIFA WORLD CUP 2018 by Christopher Roxs

Stavelot (the place where I live) placed a giant screen in the city center to play live all the football/soccer games from Belgium during the World Cup. I decided to film this and show what "side-effects" events like those have.
This was during Belgium against France.

Looking forward to show you some more!
Here 2 photos from what's about to come.

Romantik Hotel le Val d'Amblève by Christopher Roxs

In December 2017 began the renovation of the restaurant from the Romantik Hotel le Val d'Amblève in Stavelot (Belgium). I followed the whole transformation. They only had a short amount of time because they had to be open for mid-February (or a part of it).
First they had to destroy the "old" restaurant and start from 0 again.

It was stressful, but they made it on time!
